Journey to the Top

Every semester we get to do whatever we want, and submit to Society of Illustrators. I guess at the time I was thinking about climbing trees a lot, and an old character I used to draw, a boy with an affinity for tree frogs. I figure that he's South American. I guess I was thinking about how there are a lot of skills such as martial arts that are inspired by animal movement.

Some people have commented that it bothers them how the one tree is so much taller than the others, some people don't mind. I think if I could do this over, personally I would change the background and have a few more similarly sized trees around.
